He shan was born and grew up in Beijing, in 2003, an international city. In order to develop his thinking as an artist and focus more deeply in art philosophy, he came to SCAD in Savannah, GA. While developing the skills for a career in the arts, He shan has broadened his focus Beyond a single material。 He prefers to use different media to create different visual impacts. He uses a wide range of media, including photography, painting, sculpture and mixed media. He Shan believes that art work should put aesthetics first, but the motivation for creating it should be deep thinking. He is currently experimenting with different media to express emotions and visualize emotions. His studio practice seeks to use the most delicate parts of his inner world. After completing his BFA degree, he returned to Beijing and continued to explore various media to better express his ideas about culture through aesthetic means and critical thinking
